ABOUT THE MODULE
The iBMW-T is a HIGH QUALITY iPod and iPhone Car Integration Module that allows you to connect your iPod or iPhone directly to the factory stereo in your BMW. Hard-wired through various available ports of your BMW's factory car stereo you will have a truly integrated iPod Car Stereo. Enjoy ‘Full Integration' including vehicle-ignition-controlled playback, constant charging, stereo head unit control, album/artist stereo text display and steering wheel control.
HOW IT WORKS
Your iPod or iPhone connects to the iBMW-T iPod/iPhone Module with the included docking cable. The iBMW-T iPod/iPhone Module then connects to the CD changer port of you factory stereo via the included connection cable.

- Charges your iPod or iPhone when ignition signal is detected
- Turns on iPod when igniton signal is detected and off when ignition is switched off
- Radios supporting CD Text will display text from your iPod (not all radios can do this) Radios allowing CD text will allow you to view song title and artist name right on the radio display
- Plug and play with custom connectors tailored for your specific model
- Steering wheel controls supported on most models
- SMART mode for radio and steering wheel control

Text supported on all text-capable radios.
The factory external cd changer and this kit cannot be used at the same time, the original cd changer must be disconnected.
